Besides their ever-expanding common activities, for more than fifteen years, the French Association of the Order of Malta and the French Commandery of the Johanniterorden have shared an evening of prayer, preferably during the Week for Christian Unity. It is held one year in the Catholic conventual Church of the Order of Malta in Paris and the other year in a Protestant temple.

In 2023, the oecumenical ceremony was held on 8 February, in the Lutheran Saint Jean Church in Paris, the Commandery welcoming the Association. We were blessed with a delegation of the Swedish Johanniter Order, making this event a three Orders celebration.

As usual, French members of both the Order of Malta and of the Johanniter Orden have shared a strong spiritual and confraternal moment, enlightened by remarkable homilies by chaplains from both Orders.
