Each year, the main oecumenical moment is the Week for Christian Unity, held between 18 and 25 January, which has brought together in prayer Christians of all denominations since 1908.
Following this momentum, for more than ten years, in France, the Association of the Order of Malta and the Commandery of the Johanniterorden have been getting together for a common oecumenical prayer led by chaplains from both Orders.
This common prayer is held during one evening of the Week for Christian Unity: every second year in the conventual church of the Order of Malta, and the other year in a Protestant temple. It gathers between twenty and forty members from both Orders and is a greatly appreciated moment of spirituality, confraternity and conviviality.
